It could be recalled that few days back a 19-year-old Senior Secondary School (SSS2) student, Samson Omolabake who was on her way home found a purse filled with money on the ground.
However, she did not decide to steal the money but returned it to the owner. Omolabake is an Art student of Muslim Senior High School, Sagamu, Ogun state.
Surfbaze exclusively got in touch with Omolabake and she revealed how she found the money, how she returned it to the owner and how she was honoured both at the First City Monument Bank (FCMB) and her school.

Narrating how the owner of the purse felt when she returned her purse, Omolabake disclosed that: “The bank manager was very appreciative of the fact that I was able to return the purse. The bank manager took my picture and gave me the sum of N2,000, the owner of the purse also gave me the same amount. Some other customers at the bank also gave me N1000 making a total sum of N7,000."
19-year-old Omolabake further added that, she feels very happy within her and is ready to same again.
About if she is living with her parents she said: “She said No but I live with my sister. My father is dead but my mother is alive. She is a caterer.”
As a sign of appreciation FCMB has written to the school authority that this young girl should be encouraged and how she should be used as a form f example for other students to emulate.
