Current Spanish La Liga leaders Barcelona have qualified for the final of the 2018 Copa del Rey after beating Valencia 2-0 on Thursday night, February 8 in their second semi final duel played at the Mestalla.

Brazilian football star Philippe Coutinho scored his first goal for Barcelona in this tie, and his superb goal was vital for the Catalan giants to reach their fifth straight Copa del Rey final.

Barcelona started the match impressive in which Lionel Messi had a superb chance in the third minute, but the Argentine forward was unable to score.

Former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez was the major problem for Valencia defenders as they had no answers to his flurry of attack.

But Barcelona were unable to score in the first half as the first 45 minutes ended goalless.


Barcelona scored their first goal in the 50th minute when Luis Suarez supplied a fantastic pass for Philippe Coutinho, and the Brazilian wasted no time to score his first goal for the club.
